Learn to Spot Poker Cheating Players
There are many ways in which a poker player with a not very good moral background may be able to deviously have an edge over the rest of the other poker players at the table. Various ways of cheating have been devised over the years, which have given some poker cheats a very unfair advantage over everyone else.
Some poker cheats may try to "hard much" or make a quick switch of the cards in their hand with another set of cards that they have hidden in secret from the eyes of every other player on the poker table. This act requires a certain amount of skill and is not a simple task as it needs a certain amount of practice as well. The cheater who is skilled with hard mucking may be able to be very skillful enough to be able to deal a second card; or a bottom card and so on, in order to be able to search for the card or cards that he needs and place them where he wants in order to gain the advantage.
There are times when one may have a partner in the cheating activity, wherein they choose to perform a double duke, wherein, in order to have more chances of winning a far greater amount of money as compared to if the cheat were on his own, he would get the help of his partner and they would both work together. The skill would also involve trying to convince other poker players that the certain shuffle that has been done is rather legitimate, and try to entice the other players to play because they have received some fairly good hands.
Other cheaters, on the other hand, would make use of marked cards which have been printed and altered in order to enable the cheater to be aware and figure out the value of various cards just by looking at the back of these cards. There are so many ways for a card to be marked. One way that is more commonly used in the past would involve marking on a circular design on the cards in order that it can be read as if one was reading time on a clock.
Another way is by putting a card in the sun to make a shade or by getting the surface of the card scratched with the use of a razor in order to mark a deck of cards which have already been printed.
